The countdown is on...
3 sleeps to go at the last count, and it's all feeling a bit real. On Tue morning we fly to Nairobi for 2 weeks of further training and orientation before flying to Doro in South Sudan.
The last few weeks have been filled with getting ready, catching up with friends and now saying lots of good-byes!
Our latest dilemmas include: how many pairs of socks to take? Are 10 bags of fruit gums enough? And what style of hat will I look least silly in?
We still know very little about what we are heading to, although the SIM guys have been really helpful. Hopefully things will become clearer once we're in Nairobi.
We are so thankful to all of you who have shown such an interest in us, and to those who have decided to support or pray for us.
We hope to have access to the internet in Nairobi so we can update you on the first leg of our adventure!
